Tony Tost

I absolutely recommend heading over to Tony Tost's America: http://tonytostsamerica.mypodcast.com/

Old, weird America and sometimes not so old America: This is about as good a mix of songs I could ever hope to hear. And the little spoken segments that separate/merge the sections are also pretty great: Jamestown. Alice Notley. Amiri Baraka.

  1. If you go to Tony Tost's blog, be sure to also check out the archives of his late but superb Fascicle magazine. There were three issues. Issue #1 contains what may be the largest portfolio of materials related to translation ever published in a journal. http://www.fascicle.com/
