Memoir: (car crash)
Today on my way back from Chicago I was in a car crash. My car was totaled. I was a bit banged up but not really injured. It was a very intense experience.

Oh! Sorry to hear about that. I totaled my car once, only a few months after I got my first license (which was pretty late in life, when I was 31). I was on the verge of a freakout, but the cop who showed up told me it was no big deal: she said I should just relax, drive home (the car was barely running, making a lot of noise), and have a glass of wine. Which I did.
Hope your recovery is equally quick.

Thanks guys. I am pretty good. A bit sore in my right shoulder for some reason. But other than that I'm fine. Unfortunately the car is totaled. I did have a glass of wine and it did help.
