Rae Armantrout

Back in Jed Rasula's class a few years ago when I was that most reviled thing, "The Graduate Student" (as opposed to that much glorified thing, "The Blog Writer"), we read a really great autobiographical piece by Rae Armantrout where she talks about doing acid and how the psychadelic experience was key to her development as a poet. Does anybody know that piece?

Also, preferably tell me sooner rather than later because I'm teaching her next week.

You're not thinking of "True" in the Collective Prose book, are you?

Sorry for commenting, but when I looked up "rae armantrout" + "lsd" on google, I came up with a memoir by her called True. Perhaps this is where the piece came from?

You write in True that LSD offered you a “premature encounter with ‘deconstruction.’”

See here and here.

Thanks all. True I guess it is.

Max, you're much encouraged to write comments, just not the kind that contains insults.
